ID Northing/Easting In C3D Trying to get a northing/easting characterization for a point. LDT command was elementary to find. C3d has Due north/E as a transparent command where you enter the coordinates. Does anyone know where to notice the N/E command to label a point?

Re: ID Northing/Easting In C3D I don't think at that place is a command for labeling Northing and Easting in C3D.
Offhand, the just style I tin think to exercise that is to create a Indicate Characterization Style that displays Northing and Easting. Then create a Cogo Indicate wherever you want the label. This is almost the same thing, except for the need to create a Cogo Point.

Re: ID Northing/Easting In C3D Unfortunately, the northing and easting isn't exposed to general labels. What I usually do is create a dummy alignment running through my site and then create a station beginning characterization that but displays the northing and easting of the spot labeled.

Re: ID Northing/Easting In C3D Roger, you lot are correct. If you are labeling a betoken as in a C3D cogo point, you can add together the northing and easting to the label. If you are trying to label a point as in a spot within the project, then you lot accept to label something similar a point or alignment. There is no option to lable norhting and easting in a full general label.

Re: ID Northing/Easting In C3D Did anyone ever find a manner to practice this? I have the aforementioned need. I want to label a spot in space with the northing / easting (or lat / long) without creating a betoken object. LDT did this function perfect and nosotros used that ability often.

Re: ID Northing/Easting In C3D Another option to create a N/E point is to create a block with attributes. The block tin can consist of an AutoCAD point. The aspect would contain a field that reads the position the the point. Non everything in a cartoon needs to be a Civil 3D object.

It could easily exist modified to put the text in whatever place you like. It likewise sets the snap to 50 so that the coordiantes are whole numbers. Simply once again that tin be modified.
